I know that airbrush tanning systems abound everywhere there’s a tanning salon. Some really rich individuals might have it in their home as well. I have nothing against tanning, of course, as I have friends who use it to enhance their looks. I would just like to ask if it’s fashionable to be tan these days? I think I will answer myself and say yes.

I have always been fair-complexioned. But with everyone being tanned and beautiful these days, I am starting to wonder if maybe I should go get tanned myself.

I believe the best way for men and women to have a harmonious relationship with their mothers-in-law is for them to treat them like their own mothers, too. Do not treat them differently. Whenever you have to deal wit her, think of her as your mom. That way, the respect and love will be there right away.

It also will help a lot if you get her a personalized gift for mother in laws just to tell her that you also love her like you love your mom. And that you appreciate her for what she brings into the family.

Percy loves being in front of the computer. He loves playing video games and chatting and being in social networking sites. So when his parents asked him what he wants to take up while working part-time, he said that he will enroll in an online computer science degree program. It is a practical choice with the amount of time he spends online. He is really good with computers and software so why take up another degree when clearly he can be an expert in the field of computers?

So now Percy is preparing for his online studies and will soon be spending at least 60% of his time taking up his degree online.

I had an unusual job interview once. I was asked to go to a residential building in another city’s posh area. I went not expecting to be interviewed by an intelligent man and his mom. I was to act as a personal assistant to the man so he wanted to see me in the setting I would be in.

He asked me to rank 5 virtues and one of those was loyalty. I ranked loyalty lower than first. He said it’s wrong. If you have a loyal employee, it follows that the person can be trusted. A loyal employee will surely be honest, dedicated and concerned for the welfare of the company. And many more.

I am just reminded of the interview because my dad will be claiming something from his reward cards. If you don’t know it yet, loyalty is rewarded.

I was checking out www.cufflinksdepot.com for cuff links because my cousin asked for my help in buying a pair online for her boyfriend. They will be celebrating their first year anniversary and she wants to give him something that he can use for work. Since her man is always wearing corporate attire, the cuff links are a perfect daily stuff she can give him.

Even if they have been together for a short time, both are thinking of settling down by early next year. They are talking family and babies already! I don’t think anyone in the family will be surprised if they learn about it. My cousin and her boyfriend are actually best friends since they were in grade school. Can you believe it?

Sandy is applying for Institution or Cafeteria Cook Jobs. She is a good cook. She has superb business skills. But before she opens a business of her own, a cafeteria or catering service, she wants to be trained on the type of business she will be going into. She wants to know the ins and outs of the business firsthand. And the step she will take is to become employed in a cafeteria herself.

It will be the best training since she will see how a cafeteria works on a daily basis. She can’t wait for her dream to become reality!

Georgie is asking whether it is advisable to give a stainless steel partnership ring to his business partner and girlfriend of four years. They’ve been together that long and it has always been turbulent between them. Georgie is actually not sure whether they will continue being business partners as they really clash with their decisions. Being in a romantic relationship with her is great but the stress from their business is getting to both of them.

But she’s been his partner for years and was with him during a difficult period in his life. The ring will be something of a symbol for his love for her despite all the clashes and the turbulent times.

Should he give her the ring?

I am amazed at how people with disabilities can find a way to beat the odds. It doesn’t matter if they have to be in a room on an exam table or in a field where they are exposed to the elements. They will do their best and pass everyone’s expectations of them. Amazing!

It makes me feel guilty that I may not be trying as hard as I possibly can because I know others think I am living a mediocre life. But I don’t know how else to push myself to try harder so maybe this is already my best.

Oh well… there are just times when I want to be more than what I am now.

My grandma had this old couch in her home that my siblings and I loved so much. It is still in her house and the grand-aunts are asking me to take it from them. I will get some p kaufmann fabrics and have the couch re-upholstered to my liking. I will then put it inside the bedroom where I can sit when I want to read inside.

Old stuff from the ancestral house is always welcome at home. And it’s one thing that I keep reminding not just my siblings but also my cousins that we should treasure. The old stuff inside the ancestral house form part of our family history.

Glenda not only has cheap morgan dollars in her safe but also a big portfolio of other types of investments. All are locked in the safe for her eyes only. She is using up 50% of her funds in investments. It is her safety net when she’s already gray and wrinkled and can’t earn from work anymore.

I ought to follow in Glenda’s footsteps. I also need to start investing so I have something to ‘harvest’ in the future. But where to begin and how much do I need? I will have to consult an expert on this.
