An old friend

I met up with an old friend of mine from high school and she brought along her cute little two-year old kid. When I saw her carrying her kid, it hit me how time flies so fast. Imagine, it has been more than a decade now since we last saw each other. We were still in college. She went to Australia to immigrate there with her parents and siblings. She is just here in the country for a brief spell and she’s with her husband and two kids. It was really very nostalgic for me. She was one of my closest friends back in high school and I realized how much I’ve missed her.

We talked about a lot of things. She mostly talked about her kid and her secret potty training techniques . I talked more about my work and my family. It was a lot of fun. Both happy and sad. Happy because we saw each other again. Sad because we both know it will probably take another decade for us to see each other again.

But then again, I may go to Australia one of these days and I will surely visit her.

A great way to advertise

An old co-worker opened up his own recruitment company. He was the compensation and benefits manager in a previous company I was connected with. His company has been in existence for a year now and is actively recruiting a lot of people in different positions for different companies. But since there are other companies like his, there are times that he is thinking of promoting his company on a grand scale. Something that will make his company a household name for job seekers out there.

Recruitment Advertising from RAA.co.uk can help his company, I believe. RAA offers a host of services and recruitment advertising is one of those. I should tell him about RAA so he can go to their site and read more about their services.

Aching joints

My sister loves to run. She joins marathons when she can, especially those that will benefit the causes she believes in. Just yesterday, she joined a run for nationwide peace. I truly admire her for this. I am the lazy one in the family and would rather write than work my ass running like her.

But last night, she was complaining about aching joints. Thank goodness there is Synotrex, a joint pain relief medication. The pain in her joints was gone even before she hit the bed. When I saw her this morning, she was all refreshed and told me that the medication helped her sleep well.

I am thinking of joining a yoga class after the Holy Week. What do you think?

A puppy for my sister

dogonproduct.gifMy sister is getting a pet this week. She wants a puppy, a pomeranian if possible. It is a bit expensive but since my sister barely asks for anything for herself, I am thinking of buying it for her as a gift.

Our primary concern is the mess the pup will create when she poops and pees. But I found out that there is a dog toilet that one can buy for pet puppies. Ugodog.net is the online portal where you can get it. Check it out. Now I am more convinced that I will buy a pet puppy for my sister.

Inheritance

A friend of mine recently inherited a large estate from a relative. The relative has no immediate heirs so the one who will be next in line is him. He is looking for a san diego probate attorney right now who will be able to help him with the inheritance. He does not know what to do and he wants to do everything right. He already has plans with the inheritance, foremost of which is buying a house for his parents and siblings.

I have read that my friend can get a probate attorney at USA-Probate.com, a firm with qualified probate professionals.

If ever I get that big an inheritance, I wonder what I will do with it. Probably fulfill my dreams of traveling the world. How about you, any ideas?

Division of chores

We all have our own chores at home. Since I love the outdoors and is always cheerful when under it, I am assigned chores outdoors like taking care of the garden and the lawn. Trugreen is a product we use for the lawn and it is effective.

My sister on the other hand is assigned with helping out in the kitchen, particularly with cooking. She loves to cook and is always volunteering to do it. The other younger sister loves to teach. She is assigned to help out our youngest brother with his school work. And then the youngest, a boy aged 15, is assigned to take out the garbage. It was a fair division of labor and we have no complaints about it.

Now, the lawn is my pride. My siblings and I love hanging out together or with friends at the lawn. At night, the breeze is cool there and it is the perfect spot for a good conversation. As I have said, I love being outdoors. I love talking about future plans as well as past experiences with close friends.
