I do not fear growing old. Besides being self sufficient, I know my siblings will not let anything bad happen to me should the day come I become invalid. But I know a lot of people who are afraid of each passing birthday. They count the years until they become a senior citizen and would be needing care from others. I have read some expert adult day care reviews and should the need arises I be put in a senior day care, then so be it. I know there are kind medical staff who will not hesitate to help a senior person. Yes, there are bad people much like in the movies. But there are more kind spirits out there.

Hey, maybe this is the optimist in me. But I would like to believe that there is an inherent goodness in each person I meet everyday of my life. Age is just a number. If you did good, it will go back to you no matter what.
