A co-worker, H, recently inherited a large sum of money from one of her relatives. It was supposed to be hush-hush but it leaked because her immediate superior’s secretary blabbed about it to others. Apparently, H is still talking to an orange probate attorney about it. H already resigned from the company and is awaiting the release of her inheritance. She will then go back to their hometown and will open up a business of her own. Wise decision, I must admit. If she continue living in the city, her inheritance will surely be used up in no time at all. What with so many temptations to spend left and right. Plus not to mention the high cost of living in the city compared to the province. H was a good co-worker. She is very friendly and would often go out of her way to say hi to everybody. This just goes to show that good things happen to good people.
